The custom silicone tube needs to go through the following processes:
The first step is the design of the drawing, which is generally based on the dimensions of the sample provided by the customer to create the production drawing. Typically, flat drawing software such as CDR or AI is used. If the customer cannot provide a sample, we can assist the customer in completing the design and production of the drawing for free according to their requirements.
The second step is to open the mold. Based on the designed drawing, a rubber plate is created, then the copper work is carved out using the rubber plate, and finally, the steel mold is sculpted from the copper work. Some silicone tube processes have a higher technical content in mold making, and the time required is relatively longer; generally, the mold opening period is calculated as five days.
The third step is color matching and rubber compounding, based on the color number from the international Pantone color card specified by the customer or according to the customer's actual sample for color matching and rubber compounding. Our color matching is precise, with very little color difference.
